- In the Description field of the assignment, include the following instructions for students:
How to Submit Your Panopto Video Link:
- Record and save your video in the Panopto Assignment Folder.
- Copy the link to your video from Panopto.
- Paste the link into the text submission box in the assignment area.

This approach allows students to provide a link to their video rather than embedding the video itself.
For Markers: Accessing the Last Attempt Submitted by Students
To access and grade the last submission in Blackboard Ultra:
- Navigate to the Gradebook in your Blackboard Ultra course.
- Locate the specific assignment and select the student’s name.
- In the student’s submission history, identify the most recent attempt (it will be listed chronologically).
- Open the submission to view the embedded video or video link.
If needed, copy and paste the Panopto video link into a browser to view the video in Panopto.
Comparison with Blackboard Original
In Blackboard Original, markers accessed the last attempt via the Grade Centre by selecting the yellow exclamation mark. In Blackboard Ultra, the process is streamlined within the Gradebook, with all attempts easily accessible in the submission history for each student.
By following these steps, both staff and students can effectively manage Panopto video assignments in Blackboard Ultra, ensuring a seamless submission and grading process.
