Follow these steps tailored for different browsers:
Chrome
With Chrome opened on your computer:
- In the top right corner, click More (the three dots).
- Click More tools and then Clear browsing data.
- At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
- Check the box next to Cached images and files.
- Please ensure the other checkboxes are unchecked.
- Click Clear data.
Edge
With Edge opened on your computer:
- In the top right corner, click Settings and more (the three dots).
- Click Settings.
- Click Privacy, search and services in the menu on the left.
- Under Clear browsing data > Clear browsing data now, click Choose what to clear.
- At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
- Check the box next to Cached images and files.
- Please ensure the other checkboxes are unchecked.
- Click Clear now.
Firefox
With Firefox opened on your computer:
- In the top right corner, click the Menu button (three horizontal lines)
- Click Settings.
- Select Privacy & Security in the menu on the left.
- In the Cookies and Site Data section, click Clear Data….
- Check the box next to Cached Web Content.
- Please ensure Cookies and Site Data is unchecked.
- Click Clear.
Safari
With Safari opened on your Mac:
- In the menu bar click Safari and then click Settings.
- Click Privacy.
- Click Manage Website Data….
- At this stage you can search for the websites you wish to clear cached data from and click Remove or click Remove All to remove the cached data of every website.
- Please note that Safari doesn’t allow you to delete just the cache for a website and will also remove cookies. This will sign you out of most websites and require you to sign in again.
- Click Done.
Remember, clearing your cache might log you out of various websites, so ensure you’re prepared to sign in again if necessary.
