Automatic Emails

You can use this feature to email all students that were absent without approved leave or have logged an absent with reason (e.g. health) from a specific register.

To do this click the ‘Send Emails’ button for the relevant register and you are taken to the page shown below.

This page shows students who are absent from this session and did not have an approved leave of absence.

Each student can be emailed a different email template if required, and the templates can be customised in the Email Templates page.

Finally you can optionally CC the student tutor so they are aware of the student absence as well.

Clicking the ‘Preview’ button will show a popup with the email text and subject for that student.

To send the emails to all students click the ‘Send emails’ button as shown below.

FAQs

Can I prevent an email getting sent to individual students?

Yes, simply select the '--DO not send an email--' option from the template dropdown.
