Guidance for Admins
If you have been allocated as an Extension Request administrator you will have a new menu item in the MedLearn admin menu called ‘Extension Requests’.
When a student submits an extension requests form you will get an email with a link to that submission.
On the submission page you can do the following:
- View the submission information
- View any attachments made by the student
- View / add comments made by reviewers and admins
- View the outcome of reviewers
- Assign a final outcome for this submission

How do I assign reviewers to a submission?
When viewing a submission you are able to allocate reviewers based on the student programme.
The students Head of Year, Head of Assessment, Deputy Head of Year and Senior tutor are automatically shown in the allocation, but you are able to add individuals as required.
