Quizzes and Questions
MedLearn has access to a powerful quiz and question tool called ‘Quiz Tool Pro’.
You can add a single question anywhere on the page (see examples below) or create a quiz of defined questions from different ‘pots’ e.g. 5 random questions from an easy pot, 5 from a medium pot and 5 from hard.
What question types are available?
The following question types are available:
Single Best Answer (Single Response)
The example below shows a question with randomised response options and feedback for each response depending on which answer was selected. You could also use this question type to do simple True / False questions.

Multiple Choice (Multiple response)
You can a question anywhere on a page in MedLearn. This makes it a powerful tool for testing knowledge in the context of the other page content.

Short Text Response
You can images to all questions, as shown below. The short text response allows multiple permutations / spelling as a correct answer, and you can specify answers are case sensitive if required.

Similarly to the the short text responses you can specify multiple correct answers for each blank, as shown below.

Model Answers / Reflective Questions
For answers with no correct feedback, or where you want students to reflect and add a long written response you can use the ‘Reflective’ text question type. It’s also great for showing model answers allowing students to compare their response against an ‘ideal solution’.
Like all other question types, responses are saved and can be viewed by administrators.
